    Animals:Animals were Holstein cows.
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Animals were genotyped using either the Geneseek Genomic Profiler Bovine 10K SNP chip or the GGP Bovine SNP50 v3 (with data imputed to 100K), and GWAS was performed for blood hydroxybutyrate level. A total of 80,217 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:The FarmCPU method was used for GWAS.
