  •  QTL Experiment in Brief
Animals:Birds were from a population of purebred white layers with White Leghorn origin.
     Breeds associated:
Design:Birds were genotyped using a custom Affymetrix Axiom 60K Genome-Wide Chicken Genotyping Array and analyzed for growth traits. To confirm a previously identified QTL on GGA4, 130 SNPs in the region of interest were used for analysis.
Analysis:A linear mixed model was used.
    Software:LME4
