    Animals:The population was produced by crossing 2 genetically different outcross broiler dam lines originating from the White Plymouth Rock breed.
     Breeds associated:

    Design:Body weight at slaughter age was analysed.
    Analysis:There were 368 microsatellite markers used. The data was analysed in a 2 step procedure: first phenotypic data was analysed and combined and secondly QTL analysis was performed using the results of the previous analysis.
