    Animals:The heterogeneous stock was derived from eight pig breeds consisting of 4 western commercial pig breeds (including Duroc, Landrace, Large White and Pietrain) and 4 Chinese local breeds (including Erhualian, Laiwu, Bamaxiang and Tibetan).
     Breeds associated:
    Design:Whole-genome sequences were used in a genome-wide association study for meat quality and sensory panel traits. A total of 23,509,300 SNPs were used for analysis.
    Analysis:The Genome-wide Efficient Mixed Model Association (GEMMA) approach was used.
