‐ Introduction to FAANG—Goals and Opportunities

Synopsis:	This presentation will introduce the goals and current activities of the global Functional Annotation of Animal Genomics (FAANG) Consortium, including the objectives of funded projects in several countries, as well as how newcomers can participate in FAANG. Two presentations will provide basic information to set the stage and substantial time has been set aside for audience participation in a Q&A session to follow.
