Call for ABSTRACTS: Plant and Animal Genetics and Genomics workshop for
Canine and Feline Genomics.
Please note: the Canine and Feline Genomics Workshop has been moved to
Friday – 4:00 – 8:20 PM.
(This extends our time, provides a large room and avoids conflict with other
species)
Early Registration ends November 01, 2024
Deadline for poster submissions is November 03, 2024
I encourage you to submit abstracts for speaking presentations and posters
and to attend the Feline and Canine Genomics Workshop for PAG 32 in San Diego
from January 10 – 15, 2025 at the Town & Country Convention Center. For many
years, we have discussed extending the workshop to from 2 to 4 hours and
re-organizing the schedule. We have done our best to also reduce workshop
overlap with other species, such as horse and cattle. The Canine and Feline
Genomics Workshop has been moved to Friday – 4:00 – 8:20 PM.
This year, we hope to have a plenary-type speaker for the workshop, regular
15 – 20 minute presentations, flash talks for posters and students, as well
as discussion time. If you are interested in participating in the workshop,
please send the chair an email in order to begin early organization of the
workshop – Leslie Lyons (lyonslamissouri.edu). The deadline for the chair
to organize the workshop is November 15, 2024.

*If you need a Letter of Invitation or a Visa Letter direct them to

*You must register to officially submit your abstract. Early Registration
ends November 01, 2024 – however, please note, you can make payment at a
later time. If you are selected for a presentation during the workshop, will
may be able to support registration by providing discount codes, especially
for younger investigators. You may not have to pay the full registration fee,
even if you register after November 01, 2024.
Deadline for poster submissions is November 03, 2024. Note, we will select
workshop speakers from the poster submissions and also select additional
speakers.
