Subject: Online course: Meta-analysis in R (May, 13th-16th)
Date: Thu, 11 Apr 2024 13:51:00 -0500

Dear all,

We're thrilled to share news of our upcoming online course, "Meta-Analysis
in R," running from May 13 to 16, 2024.

Course Details:

- Website:https://www.physalia-courses.org/.../metain-r/
- Overview: This course offers a comprehensive introduction to contemporary
  meta-analysis methods.
- Topics Covered: We'll explore the systematic review and meta-analysis
process, statistical analysis, interpretation, and result presentation.
Specific areas include parameter estimation, statistical artefacts,
  random-effects meta-analysis, meta-regression, model diagnostics,
sensitivity analyses, and more. Hands-on tutorials and practice exercises
with real meta-analytic datasets will be integral, focusing on applying
  and interpreting various methods.

Who Should Attend?

While the course is designed to be self-contained, a basic understanding of
statistical methods (e.g., regression, hypothesis testing) is recommended.
Familiarity with R is advantageous, although we'll cover the essential steps
during the course.
