Nov 17, 2025: To get long URL shortened has been a common practice in order to share long web links safely (without broken or get truncated during transfer via email/messaging). There used to be many free services such as tinyurl.com, bitly.com, etc. However as bot hackings and abusive use becomes a way of life on internet, the free/open access to these services are becoming harder. We have created such service for the community members on AnimalGenome.ORG, easily accessible by those who has an AGRC directory account.

AGRC Directory now serves FAANG website and listserve, Lush Animal Geneticists and Breeders Pedigree, AnGenMap community, etc.
